- Hi all,
-
- I just recently got my TCP/IP account with POP. To read the
- mail, I try Voodoo at the moment.
- From fooling around with Networking some time ago, I still
- have a (working) SMTPpost installed, I believe from INetutils.
-
- My question is how do I _write_ mails offline, then send em
- when connected. I get it that SMTPpost has a spool option, but
- I)'d have to use a SMTPd to send them out again.
- IS there an easier solution ?
- Wouldn't it be better to just use "cat >spooldir: uniquefilename"
- as mailer, then run SMTPpost on every program in spooldir: ? (Like,
- with List lformat; execute; or with xargs or something
- like that...)
-
- Suggestions appreciated
-
- Tom.
